Publication of : "For Valerie": The untold story of the murder of Valerie French Kilroy
In England and Wales Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHRs) are conducted when a person is killed by a family member or intimate partner, to examine the circumstances of the death and identify lessons learned to prevent future deaths. These reviews are multi-agency processes that aim to improve the way organizations and agencies respond to domestic violence and protect potential victims.Â
In July 2025 the Domestic Abuse Commissioner for England and Wales published a report titled "Learning from Loss" which aims to ensure that the learning identified from Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHRs) is used to drive lasting and meaningful change.
